Good for you, I was a recent business owner and did the same thing as you. You know buying a good used van for business. When people would criticize my choices it would peeve me because I don’t criticize there choices. Why should they care? I don’t tell them how to live or what they should buy with there money. I think if I have the cash to pay for it and I’m not going into debt it’s non of there business. I think deep down they are controlled by others or they are just jealous. thanks for letting me rant.
Even if you are borrowing money for it, it is nobody’s business.

ENVY is something that can have one needing to guard a
"bat-cave" secret of sort with a certain few in one's circle.

Depending on what you do and where you are,
In a Clients' eye, It can be like you don't need that work or charge too much.
To an Employer it may be taken as you don't need to make more money
or advancement in position/duty that would create that.

Topping that might be Co-worker envy in the Workplace.
Now there's an "understanding" that is impossible
and most likely not worth trying to understand.
When the cat-is-out-of-the-bag it can have you feeling
like you have to duck for cover at times.

Starting a new job, it might be an Manager's introductory method
for you to be asked to tell something about yourself. Realizing pretty
quick that it might be risky and might not be best replied
with the top order of importance and/or most proudly accomplished.

Another Chapter can be written when you need someone to
come by and provide an opinion and quote for a repair on your house.
... while keeping the door to the "bat cave" closed tight.

Ok here’s another thing that I learned from an awesome crazy corvette fella ...
many here know who this "anonymous corvette man" is 👍🏻👍🏻
Shop stores and purchase/hoard a few of these ...

Enjoy driving your Corvette.
At stops, when a kid runs up to
Check out your Corvette ... Give them One.
You will never ever ever ever know
What that feels like until you do it!
Whenever anyone asks you about why you bought that Corvette ... your facial expression when thinking about those kids will “speak” a million words.
That looks like my collection!!!😍🤓😳😄😎

I was 64. Just divorced. I wanted a Harley years ago and got a nice 1993 Anniversary Ultra. Sold it and in 1998 saw my Vette and bought it. Always wanted one - got it and love it! These are the only two vehicles outside family cars I've owned.

Why would anyone be bothered or explain what they do with their money?
Yup no needed to explain besides … What money ? … there’s no money … it’s spent 😁👍🏻Besides it’s disposable and now it’s the dirtiest money on the planet … according to a tv program I watched about the switch in Canada to the polymer (plastic) bills. 💸

Too true. I had a Councillor at one of the County’s I worked at notice that one of our staff was driving a Porsche Cayenne SUV. From that he so “wisely” deduced that all staff made to much money because one staff member was driving a nice car.

To many people looking over the fence so just build really high fences.

Im really enjoying theses posts, I sold my kenworth a few months back that was a major investment 350kwhen it was finished. Now I'm a very lucky owner of a C7.yes it's passion ! I never thought in a 100 years I would on a car like this , now I have two !these cars have so much wow factor.love driving them , I get compliments all the time.I used to think that any one having a car like this would be loaded, that's a stretch, cause I'm not .I agree it's about prorities,I don't need a car like this but I really do want a car like this !keep on trucking !

Even worse is when a Councillor sees his/her engineer driving a Corvette.... lol....
