Today was the first time I put my 70 in a show & shine. It's still a work in progress, but has been coming along nicely. My good friend Gord came down and put his 68 RS SS big block ragtop Camaro in beside mine. A great turnout, close to 200 cars and a perfect sunny day. A great time was had by all, and I received some wonderful comments and feedback from many folks. Here are a few pics of the day.
Thank you. It has been quite a labour of love and far too much money to get it to where it is now. My friends car was a rotiserie restoration he did in 98, and is one of the nicest cars I know. I helped him put in a completely hidden stereo system, without cutting or drilling anything, any still has the factory radio that fully functions, was a challange.
Wow Zig those are some great pics of some amazing cars. Your 70 looks great. Hard to see what might be left to do! So does your pals SS ragtop. I wish I would have heard about this one. I would have come down and looked around too. It was a perfect day here for this event.
Heading to the airport in 30 minutes...back to work. Summers over for me.
Wow Ziggy ... "what a difference a day makes" eh?
Thank you soooooo much for the preview yesterday.
Next time we won't block the driveway and see it rolling
and reimburse you the gas money for that thrill.
Thanks guys. I sure get alot more head turns with the hood off, I kinda like it. As soon as the finish detailing and AC wiring in completed to my satisfaction, the big block bulge hood will go on. Probably a couple more weeks, damm daytime job keeps getting in the way!

ahhhh, now you tell me what I need to do something like that ... a real job to pay for it !
... looking forward for a couple of weeks ... I just happen to be in Edmonton (St. Albert) on the 9th
(no pressure though)
Naaa just wait a few months... I seem to be trading them in at a rate of 0.75 per year! All with under 10k mileage, new tires, an acre of Xpel and lots of carbon fibre.
