Well since upgrading my 99 Z51 shocks to the new 08 Z06 ones and feeling such a increase
in handling I decided to go with a pair of new swaybars and bushing.
Was looking at the C6 Z51 bars or the T1 bars, I think the C6 Z51 would be a mild improvement over the
stock bars and I have heard the T1's are great if drive your car on the track all the time
but you will feel the bump and the car will ride much harder.
So I decided to go with something in the middle of the performance spectrum and add a set of
Hotchkis bars and bushings along with a set of Z06 metal endlinks to firm things up a bit.

I will let you know how it turns out after my buddy Manny gets everything installed here are some photos
of the parts below.

Great mod Greg!
I also recently upgraded my sways to Phadt bars and all I can say is wow! this is how these cars should have handled form the factory...I originally upgraded to Z06 bars 2 summers ago and that make a significant improvement over the base bars, but these aftermarket sways take it to a completely new level....

( I have the Z06 bars for sale BTW for any1 thats looking to upgrade their base suspension )

Ya, I hope the effect is much like the improvement with the new shocks!

Soon as I get the parts in my hands, they are in shipping now, then when
Manny can get a chance to throw them on, should only be a hour job or so.

Cool, lets us know what you think of the installed product.... That will be one of the next things I would like to do....:D

I'm sorry, rookie question.

What will sway-bars do? Just give a little less roll on the car when turning? I've never really looked into their function too much. Are the bushings always something you'd do when doing the sway-bars? I hope they aren't as pricey as the bushings on my Avalanche--thise were sick for price (OEM Electronic suspension).
