New Car

Found it online at Chapters.Indigo.ca -- Greg.

One can't go wrong with a book by the inside man himself -- Dave McLellan.

Looking forward to reading it.

C.

You'll enjoy it. He was involved with the Corvette from the C1's to the development of the C5. The book recalls the history right back to '53 with an inside track.

You inspired me to look on Ebay Colin and some nice low mileage C4's out there .

For me Stephen it was a no brainer -- A C4 was in my future sometime, and Steamer found this fine example in BC so why not jump now ..... What the heck. you only live once.
I could have waited for a ZR-1 but would have paid much more for it and probably had more potential problems with it too. So it's worked out for me.

Good luck with your search. Kent has one fine example for sale right now if you really want a great C4 ..... I"m sure you wouldn't be disappointed and aren't you coming this way anyway hopefully Stephen?

Check his ride out. It is a beaut and would look nice in your garage:

Got a vanity plate name sorted out yet?

Any suggestions Wayne? -- No idea at this point in time.....

in time with CRSTLMTH maybe it could start POLOxxxx or xxxxPOLO or GRNxxxxx or xxxxxGRN ...

I don't know. I'll have to think about it. Terry (Woodstock Car Guy) came up with CRSTLMTH , he might have an idea too.......

I'll have to give this one some thought. Maybe I'll be inspired again when I see it, as it sounds like a real gem.

Incidentally Terry I've heard nothing from the DOT on my plate application and they said initially that if it were not approved I'd hear within the first week and get a refund.
It's been over 2 weeks now so it looks promising for CRSTLMTH... I'm please about that.....thanks.

More pics of my 2ndVette that's in Steamer's garage now waiting for me.
Thanks for sending them Rob -- Nice to see the new beast and read the owner's manual while I wait to come out there.
I see that so called "trunk" isn't very big -- we'll have to travel light...:D

Yes Colin, travelling light is something you learn to do with the older Vettes. We found a couple of lawn chairs that fold up to the size of a laptop. Great for when we go to meets with the T-tops stored in the back. They're called Pico from a company named GCI Outdoor. Not cheap, but very comfortable and compact. I got them from Amazon.ca

Car looks really sweet. I look forward to seeing it soon.

how about polovert ?......vert meaning both green and rag top !!! :D

very nice find, congrats, reminds me of my '94 coupe.
I added the red lettering on the valve covers,
and some chrome rectangular exhaust tips, ...these might
also complement your 'vert.
