So last night I manage to figure out how to access my window sticker online for my car that was built last Friday. What's the first thing I see listed in the options section- a mistake!
Not sure after I approved my order in auto book with all the correct codes showing, why a dealership cannot simply order the correct option codes especially when there are two red brake calipers to choose from! Today it was confirmed, my window sticker is correct that I forwarded to them, and they messed up my order.
There are no Z51 edge red calipers available in Canada. They retail here for over $1100 each. Has anyone seen a set of these calipers available anywhere or know of anyone looking to sell/trade for bright red Z51 calipers?
Thanks
Scott

If a dealer screwup; they should provide the parts and labor to swap you out.

Worst case, likely cheaper to get them repainted right shade versus new ones if it’s a long lead time.
My car is still sitting in quality control and it's going to take me a least 2 days after it's out to get it shipped. I'm glad I discovered the problem early so I can first advise the dealer of the mistake, and secondly start making my own plans to fix it. I priced the calipers out today and with tax they are $5,501.11. There's no way the dealer is going to pay that to order me new calipers out of the US. It's an expensive mistake for being careless.

If dealer has a Body Shop (few do). Taking them off and repaint might be their offer. They would still be a couple grand in the hole for their mistake.

Hopefully they do right by you to get this right

They do have a body shop but I was hoping to avoid repainting as I wanted factory original brembo's painted and baked by them.

Could this work ?? They can send you a set already painted while you send yours back (core exchange), or you ship them your set to have painted...

Probably, just a hassle, to send brand new brake calipers all the way to California and have to wait a month for return.

Keep the bright red. The Edge red is not anywhere close to matching the Torch red paint. You end up with too many shades of red.
My car built last Friday is Red Mist Metallic Tint coat and the closest colour match is the Edge Red Calipers.

Sorry - my bad. For some reason, I thought you were getting Torch Red. Yes, you want edge red calipers.
I noticed lately sometimes my signature shows with my C8's info and sometimes it doesn't. My badges change, because I am the lowly cook on here.

It is a HUGE PITA to re and re the calipers on a C8. I see you are from London. I saw something on youtube that Finch changed the colour on some calipers and they said it was fairly cost effective. Did you order your car from them ?
Scott, although I have been talking to Morgan for years and had breakfast with him up at the Bayfield show at the beginning of July, his lists have been to long for me to go on. Go figure, I've even had Brian Finch who owns the dealership over to my house in the past to meet the Corvette Chief Designer and get his personal car autographed. My car was ordered out of Guelph with a 2021 deposit before luxury tax.
Morgan uses Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists here in London to do his powder coating, and I also used them to powder coat my 2020's base wheels carbon flash metallic to leave on my car when I sold it. You have to disconnect the battery to prevent sudden locking of the brake system and follow a special procedure when working on these brakes. Just can't believe the dealer didn't check the correct box!!! :Banghead::Banghead:

Guelph, you say? That's where the 2020 3LT HTC Z51 w/Z51 MSRC and front lift is @ OTD $137000 and change. Colour Long Beach red metallic (predecessor to Red Mist Metallic Tint coat?) with natural tan interior. Under 2,000km. For anyone that might be interested...

That's way overpriced for a 2020
