Shipping Time

Cars go trailer from BG to Toledo OH. where they are loaded on to rail cars.

Depending on how many are coming to Canada they sit there until the car is full, so Toledo could be two days to a week or more, When my car came in last year it arrived in Toledo March 17 and arrived in Winnipeg April 14th.
So the wait should not be that long............

17 business days from factory to British Columbia, Vancouver. Then up to 2 days from distribution center to dealer. Add 2 more days for Interior BC.

Also can take up to 3-7 days to leave factory in winter time. Almost immediate in Summer/Spring

in my experience once the vehicles are built and pass quality control they are usually at my dealership in Brampton, ON within 2 weeks.

Currently I have a C7 Z51 that's getting built next week. I plan to deliver it before the end of the month unless there is an unexpected delay at the factory.

The foot of snow that just dropped on Kentucky might create a delay! Governor just declared state of emergency.

They are not the best equipped for snow removal. I-65 from Bowling Green to Louisville ( which is the truck route ) is at a standstill. So I'd add a few more days to your shipping timing due to weather again.

Wife is from Louisville and her parents were from the Bowling Green area so when stuff like this happens we hear about it from the kin folk.

Should work out nicely , get rid of the snow by the time the car gets there. Congrats on your new 'Vette. Like the shot you got from the production line ! Can't wait for spring.

Thought GM wasn't going to ship till April to Canada due to the tires cracking in the cold weather?

Also have a TPW of next week, was assuming that it wouldn't be here till mid April, so not looking forward to picking it up before the weather warms up in Southern Ont. if that is the case.

My car came offline on a Saturday and I was driving it home the following Friday night! It was a Toronto delivery. I called onstar to track it as my dealer could not tell me anything, BTW don't do that OnStar thought I was a nut ;)

Hi Mike,

The customer who is buying this C7 has booked the factory tour to go see his vehicle being built at Bowling Green.

They called him yesterday to confirm his tour and let him know his tour guides coordinates etc as well as his C7's VIN number. apparently the VIN has been assigned already but its still not showing up on my Global Connect. His vehicles is scheduled to be built on Wed 03/11 and roll off the line for QC on 03/12.

So far looks like everything is running on schedule for vehicles to be produced next week.
