My original deposit is with Brian Cullen Chevrolet. After calling everyone else from Windsor to Toronto, I placed a deposit with Scherer Chevrolet in Kitchener. Found that they too were very upfront and accommodating. Some would not even tell me how many were on their list, or even how many they had sold last year. I feel good about my choices.

I'm in the same boat as you, but the other way around. My local "small" dealer is Wallace, in Milton, ON. So far, they're quite evasive about allotment and number on waiting list, although the salesman did say I was "5 or 6", when I made a deposit in February, 2020. He also suggested I might see it by "early summer" (of 2020). Ha! My large dealer is Spencer, in Cobourg. They're far more open about specifics. I deposited there in April, 2021. It's a toss-up as to which one will actually place the order with GM first.
Did you arrange the covered transport through Spencer's or on your own? What does that run roughly? Figure I may have to look into that if mine comes in the winter...

I goggled on my own. It was a very nice trailer and it was 250 to load and $3/km. Let me know if you need the contact. He had excellent reviews and deals with only high end cars
