Museum Photo Album cancelled

Rumor has it the pre-production Z06's are soon to be on the line. I'm betting they don't want photos out as the photos in the album show not only your car but others before and after...

May 7th is the cutoff date. Putting a target date says to me it is NOT covid related, but rather visitor access is being cutoff so there are no prying eyes.

My car was built early Feb and I've yet to receive my Production Photo Album. The vendor who handles this has a massive backlog.

8 to 10 weeks is typical for delivery. Yours should come soon

What did the museum say? I asked after 9 weeks and they said it was on it's way. It still took a while to cross the border.

Shane replied within 3 minutes of my email to him. "My apologies for the continued delay. We continue to work through the backlog and will have it processed ASAP. You will receive an email from UPS with tracking information once the album does ship out."

However, Murray says he never received the email notice for his.

For those that purchased the photo album from BG for their car , @Murray20c8 , was it worth the cost? (I'm pretty sure I know the answer, LOL). I'm contemplating it for my order, think it would be a neat addition to the man cave. LOL. I hope BG is still doing this, I still see it listed on their website ($700 US). Thanks!

My being comfortable contacting the museum about my car made it totally worth it. lol
It's a keepsake. Since there are no tours it's not bad.

Exactly my wife's and my thinking as well. We would love to do a R8C museum delivery, but know that's not possible, so this could be a suitable substitute. Thanks Murray.

Definitely worth the cost. I was so excited when it arrived. I initially kept it on the coffee table, but not many got to see it there. Now I keep it in the frunk, so no matter where I go I can show it to fellow enthusiasts. Always gets great reactions.
