My wife has been the perfect nurse maid. I'm glad she's been around. It's going to be a very long 6 weeks. I'm glad it was done now though and not in the middle of corvette summer. Surgery went well Derek, thanks.
Finally finished it off today. Blacked out market lights look better in the day time... reflectors, back up lights and third brake light also blacked out. Replaced oil cap and removed cheap stingray badges. As going to put new badges on but I think I like it better badgeless

Thanks Derek, I originally ordered carbon flash badge kit but as soon as I took the fender badge I decided I liked it. So I canceled the order. Beside like you said, the element of surprise...
Very nice. Black on black looks sharp. Mine was chrome and on my dark car it really stood out... not in a good way.
I decided to put the bit of red into mine and ordered new OEM badges.
I see now they have full exposed carbon fibre side badges that match the carbon fibre front and rear crossed flags ones I put on.
Decision time again....

Funny is, during my chip seal damage repair last year, my car was completely badgeless and the repair shop called me to ask whatcha think? .... went for a visit and said ... “put em on, my friend Rick needs to know which car isn’t his ...”
