Low Profile Ramp

Has anybody used the Motomaster low-profile ramps from Canadian Tire? Wondering if the 9.5 degree is low enough to use on the C8.

I bought one about a month ago for my C7 that was lowered about an inch. No issues with scrapping since I have a front splitter as well. I drove the front end up onto the ramp and used a jack to get the car higher up.

Thanks. Curious in the first pic did you drive up both sets of ramps or did drive up one end and then jack the other and then place the ramp blocks under the tires?

Backed up then jacked car on front ramps, if you look close front ramps are placed backwards if I tried driving up

How much did you lower the car by? Any issues with speed bumps? I'm ordering a non-Z51 with mag-ride and no front-lift, which should be able to be lowered, just need to work out how much I can get away with.

You could put 2" x 8" boards down in front of the ramps to lift your car 1.5" before getting to the ramp if that would give you the clearance you need to drive up.

get yourself a set of race ramps. Increased price, but better quality and their lineup has ramp for every car, and I do mean every car.

Race ramps are nice but if I'm spending that kinda money I would buy a set of quick jacks from Costco for $1200

The ramps in the photo don't appear to be the low profile ramps. The low profile ramps lift the car just over 8 inches and look to be longer with a 9 degree angle of approach.

Yup, you're correct. My mistake. I thought they looked too short.

$1200? not sure what ramps your buying but would not need to spend anywhere near that amount.

Quickjacks are alright, wasn't impressed. i'll take RR or a lift any day over QJs

I was interested in these until I found some in stock at CT and discovered the maximum lift of the tire is 6 + 5/16 inches. Race ramps I have in AZ give me 10 Inches so I'll need to keep searching for Race Ramps or a quick jack.

In case some of you don't want to pay extra for Extended versions of Quick jacks they work at 60" also if you can't get the 66" version

Interesting to see that C8 lifted with the quickjack sideways. I'd be scared to try that.

bI use them for a c6 z06...I put a 2 x10 in front...all good
