Debating the need and desire for adding a flip drive unit from Cartek. I really like the idea of adding one. It would run the supercharger independently of everything else and therefore eliminate the stress currently being placed on the accessories (alternator, water pump).
However, in doing my research, one thing I read is that with the standard ECS kit like I have, a flip drive isn't really needed since belt slippage was one of the main reasons for adding one and that the stress being placed on the accessories isn't that extreme. I will say that I have had one belt slip issue already.
