If you are a car enthusiast, no street car is too hardcore. I will adjust my expectations to adapt to the car.I have my name down too. May be too hardcore for me. The Z06 is already up there in terms of loudness and power. It is not as usable as the C8 for GT driving IMO, plus I love my HTC as some of you know. But if I am definitely buying it if I get the allocation. I don't think price will be a factor in this market anymore for a rare car like that. So it will be snapped up by any "carnoisseur". We will see.
Today is only the 24th. Is it on not the 25th?reveal is tomorrow at 7pm eastern time in Miami
That's what the video said.Today is only the 24th. Is it on not the 25th?
Dennis's post was yesterday, so I thought they had move up one day which is today. That's what the video said.
Supposedly the ZR1’s reveal will be at 7:00 PM (ET) — This Thursday at the Miami Track Concours Club. GM should be releasing a link soon.
You mean the wheels? Can't believe I've been able to hold my thoughts to myself. Must be growing up...
my bad, its been a crazy week and its only WednesdayDennis's post was yesterday, so I thought they had move up one day which is today.
Ok so it is still the 25th. Tks.
I would ordinarily agree, however, getting to my age. The excitement of pure speed and road credentials prowess is taking second place to a balance of performance, visceral experience and ease of ownership. My favorite car of the ones I have is the 997.1 Carrera 2 Manual Convertible. 300hp of pure joy and excitement any day, as long as there is no traffic, or rain or....lol. I will buy the ZR1 if I get one as it makes financial sense ,in a weird way. But I also miss the C8s fun (being able to row thru gears for example) and ease of driving compared to the Z06. I think the Z06 is as far I would go to own, drive often and keep. I drove the new GT3RS and found it loud and harsh, the Turbo S was too sickly fast, so my choice would be the GT3 if I went to a 911. Hence slower but a lot more engaging. If you are a car enthusiast, no street car is too hardcore. I will adjust my expectations to adapt to the car.
When will that Awd Zora with 1200+hp makes its debut? Next year?LT7 stats 1064 HP with 828 lb ft of torque from 5.5 L flat plane crank with twin turbos.
That's what's coming tonight.
Scott
Next summer most likely. When will that Awd Zora with 1200+hp makes its debut? Next year?
Ok so I will take whatever they offer me. They will get nice profit and I get the Z.
