He will be heartbroken when he sees what his dealer will offer him for his $300k C7 ZR1
 
Depending on the options and version of C7 ZR1 they are in that ball park on resale price, however good luck with any dealer paying you that kind of money for your ZR1 you're better to hang on to it till the right buyer comes along that knows what they want if you have the car that fits their list of "must haves" in a C7 ZR.

A person I know online is selling his C7 ZR1 in Ontario, he went to get a UVIP for his car and he was shocked what Ontario says the value is for his car, take a look at the attachment (certain important info is whited out for privacy reasons).

To the member that has that "SO" vert, a potential buyer may not share your "vision" of cosmetic mods that are currently on your car, so MO is if you want the money that your car could bring when you sell you should put it back to stock or close to it visually it would be more desirable to more people when it looks factory.

I just asked my guy at Brian Cullen about getting on the wait list for the ZR1, thinking that they wouldn't start the waitlist until the official GM announcement. He said they are already 10 people deep on it and he expects they'll only get 1-3 of them and told me that it's not worth even getting on it.

You won't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket..... stay on the list.... how many of the 10 will back out? We were told from Cullen's that they have 2 already fully spoken for, but things change, and fast......

Easy to say from my armchair....just my $0.02.

Brian Cullen is full of crap when it comes to there Corvette lists. When I asked about the ZR1 list couple months ago they told they have over 100 deposits back when C8 launched 2020. They even told me they have 10 deposits for C9. At this point their either lying or just taking $5,000 deposits to keep there dealership afloat.

For the most part regardless of lists the ZR1 goes to long standing existing customers of the dealer or to the highest bidder. I've never seen a single dealer be transparent about any Corvette list. You could be told your position 3 and the dealer can still give it to a higher paying customer/friend without you knowing. They can tell you they never got an allocation or one of the items you wanted was on constraint.

I have been on Cullen's lists for 2 Stingrays, 1 Z06 and 1 E-Ray, and have scrutinized the numbers from internal and external sources. The numbers and lists are pretty accurate.

We had a long conversation about this back in January through April. Did you get your Z06 ordered and what about your friend you were asking about?
I have had a number of Z06 allocations come up over the past few months at different dealers that they or other members advised me about.
I was the one that a year and a half ago asked Cullen's to start a C9 list and mentioned that to you as well in January. I am also coming up on 2 years that I have had a deposit on a ZR1 which I have a slim to none chance of getting. You said your in Alberta and GM would prefer it if you buy local. I also mentioned to you last January how many ZR1's Canada got in 2019. Have you already placed a deposit in Alberta for a ZR1 if you plan on getting one? The largest dealers in Alberta in 2019 got 1 or 2 ZR1's last time, although this time will be different but you will just have to wait longer.
 
The 75th anniversary Corvette will be the swan song to the C8. Things keep getting pushed back. We still have the ZR1, Zora and Grand Sport to go with a new engine coming. At least this time the ZR1 is going to be available for up to 4 years before the switch over to C9. Five years of the C8 have past and the C9 will be here before you know it.

At lease we know the C9 is coming fast if the GS turn out to be an disappointment. lol..
