Irma is a beast. Just cannot imagine what is to come. You can only hope for the best for all.

Storm is down to Cat 4 only by 2mph .It was noted that with warm waters ahead may increase intensity .The path has not changed .
I have two friends one in Key West and one in Homestead that plan to ride out Irma both are a little foolish .
As snow birds we booked into Big Pine Key for two week and Orlando for a month .
Note there are web cams both in the Miami area and Key West that you may be able to watch until power is lost .
