Don't know the answer to your q, but the other thing I wonder about is GM option for dual roof panels on coupes when you buy new.
Not sure why they call it the dual roof option. You buy a new Corvette coupe it comes with a roof for the price you pay for the car. Adding the dual roof option means you get 1 transparent roof. You don't get 2 extra roofs which is what I think a dual roof option should be.
Also that option on C7 costs somewhere in the $3500 range. You could go into parts and order up a T. roof for around $2k when they were available new, much less expensive than buying it when you order your car. You pay the extra money to get the option code on your build sheet, 3 extra letters on your build sheet isn't worth $1k + cost on the price of your new Corvette.
