I bought my very first Corvette this year and it was originally in Victoria BC. First I was looking at a 1988 35th Anniversary Corvette which it's currently in Alberta but it has 300,000KM for 8500.00. At first the personal ad said it had like 170.000 KM but at the bottom of the ad it says it was in miles.. so I looked for something else.
At home I had a Corvette book and my girlfriend liked the 1978 Corvette with the silver anniversary package with a red interior. We kinda went on the auto trader and kijiji website and looked for some and then I turned the page on my Corvette book and she wanted the Pace car.. So I looked online and we were in February of this year and I found one in Victoria, BC. So this May we fully paid the car and it's currently being delivered by Hansen's to our in-laws.. So in June 8th we will finally get our 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy Pace car..
I would like to talk to other owners of Indy pace car in this region since they are more rare here then the U.S.
My 1978 Chevrolet Corvette has the L82 350 Engine with the 3 speed automatic. I know the 4 speed manual are rare but I drive a 6-speed Ford Focus ST and believe me it's a pain in the butt to drive a manual transmission in city traffic..
