Lake Lure NC. And no, no Z51. I won't drive a gear below 1500 and only on level terrain. I gear down going up hill....

Jack likes supporting the oil companies.
I knew the final drive ratio was a bit taller with non Z. Wasn't sure by how much.
With Z, I'm at 1650 at 120 clicks.

5th through 8th gear are all fuel economy driven. Hate it. I did a 1/2 mile run event, shifted from 4th to 5th at 185 and the car basically died lol...
What RPM did you shift at? I assume you were in manual mode. Run it up closer to redline and it should pull fine I would think.
