What RPM did you shift at? I assume you were in manual mode. Run it up closer to redline and it should pull fine I would think.

You would certainly assume so given that GM claim a top speed of 312 kph . Not to mention the several YouTube videos of the somewhat de-tuned European versions on the Autobahn . Saw one get up to about 280 kph before traffic was a problem and it seemed to be pulling ok .

If I read your weird looking PDR right, it looks like you shifted to 5th at 2700 rpm or so. No wonder.

I know we didn’t buy these cars for gas mileage, but it is amazing how good they are in fuel, of the three vehicles I own for family driving this one is the best for fuel economy when I thought it would be the worst.

Ya, Knowing the bar I immediately looked there and saw about 6250 rpm. Now that RRuuff said that the red line is misleading. lol.
Either that or you did throw out an anchor.
Was that "Race the runway"?

Ahhhh.... I see that now. My C7 PDR is a completely different screen. The only gear I have that doesn't pull is 7th (the last one) as it's a gear only for highway gas mileage. Pushing to redline on a closed course I shift 4th to 5th at 240 kph but if I shift at 5000 rpm where my max torque is my car pulls better in the next gear. Stats say your max torque is at about 5150 rpm. Be interesting to make that same shift at that rpm and see how that feels.

1 less gear and Manual make a big difference in gear top speed. I'll see if I can find the whole run vid...
