HTC Engine viewing

Nothing to see!
Not much for sure without some dress up but Some of you are missing the point. If there ever is an issue with the engine wether or not you can fix on the road or not ,at least you can have a quick look just like a conventional front engine vette Without removing a dozen screws every time. But I guess some of you never look under the hood and just send it to the dealer for regular check ups.

That's what the warranty us for.

So I,am thinking with the HTC engine cover under the roof storing compartment ,about cutting the center out of that plastic cover and bonding a clear Lexan sheet so you can see the engine with the body top cover is raised?Thoughts anybody?Just an idea I am tossing around.
Dzus fasteners for the stock lid. I would not modify the actual cover but replace the stock fasteners with Dzus style. Aircraft grade, used by most racing teams as they are quick to remove and very secure.

Be careful with Dzus fasteners. Although "aircraft grade" whatever that means, and having spent a great deal of my life dealing with them, they do come loose and adjusting them is tricky. They also rattle. No biggee on a race car but mother wont like any rattle in your $100k car.
