Hahaha. Thinking of old timers guessing car parts. My wife and I went to look at some spare cupboards for our house to make a kitchenette in our basement and they were in terrible shape. Anyway, that's not the point of the story, but we told the guy thank you and that we weren't interested. On the way out of his garage, my wife notices a hood on the far wall because she has a spare hood for her Mustang that she wants to hang in our garage. She asks him. What is that hood from? The guys response, "It's from a car.". I look at it and say, oh, is it off a Road Runner? He says, no, it's from a GTX......Sometimes, you're just never right.

Riley, I heard he was throwing the hood in with the purchase of some cupboards he was selling. Whole car if you wanted it.

I second that on the GTX. Would love one.... On that note though, I would have given you some credit for the Road Runner guess..... you were very close....

I thought it was a good guess as I couldn't see the side of the hood to read the if the insert said 383 or 440 or HEMI which would have given it away.
