Your car and your money so do what YOU want Shane. A bit of advice can't hurt either though


I felt that a CAI, headers, catback, LEDs and tune would give me a better bang for the buck, closely followed by brakes/wheels and tires (less bang for the buck)

I still love this hood but IF it ever does occur it will be at the end of my mods, not the beginning.

I'm pretty thick skinned lol I have a hunting forum with almost 4,000 members and over 400,000 posts. When it comes to forums I've seen it all. That's good you've had some experience with other forums Shane. That makes the good ones (like ours) a little more attractive.......

Our advice is to the point and succinct, but from the heart with no malice, and you won't find a better bunch of fellas with the experience they have, on any forum anywhere.......

I take everyone's opinions here seriously. This c4 is totally new to me and so different from the 75 I used to have Took me a day to learn everything on the dash lol. If I was to say I was going to do something to my car and everyone was against it I would rethink it as the members here have seen more and had more vettes than I have. I'm certainly not a mechanic but I love corvettes. I'm into hunting deer , UFC and tattoos and just recently got my ass back into a vette and lovin it. It's all good boys

Well Wayne, you better do a Supercharger first before you get the hood I guess!

As for the highrise on a C4, I've never seen one with it. $1400 actually sounds cheap for a hood that size! If you like it, I say do it! Then take pictures so we can see!

That is great that you got back into the vettes and it's great to have you here! I don't know much about hunting but I just got me my first deer this fall with a .243. Can't get meat more organic than that!
