Hello from Nova Scotia

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone, you make me feel right at home. Chevy girl as far as I know here in NS we can get an antique plate on any vehicle over 30 years old and able to pass a mechanical fitness test given by a licensed mechanic at the time of registration. This is, and something I don't agree with, the only time to the best of my knowledge that the vehicle has to be inspected while ever the owner keeps it licensed each year. If the vehicle is sold that new owner has to have a fitness test done before he can put it on the road with an antique plate in his/her name. Registering them antique comes with an extremely reduced yearly fee. I think It's only 19.25. I have 2 vehicles registered this way and keep them well maintained.I kind of worry about the ones that aren't kept maintained and keep driving the roads with no one giving them any kind of look over unless it gets sold.
