did you have to take any parts off?? what kind did you buy?Screened in my grill screens with a finer screen door mesh. Keeps rads from plugging up with bugs.
It will when the bugs start filling the screen! lolProtection on top of protection….Double protection.
Could it creat an overheating possibility?
I’ll watch it. If it does they can be removed but was never an issue on my 6.2 Camaro.Protection on top of protection….Double protection.

Bugs still get through and plug the rads. This prevents that. I’ve done it on my vehicles for years. So you are putting screens over your screens? My C8 is fine with just one condom.
Bugs won't fall off a screen that tight. Bugs on a rad are different than bugs on a screen in front of the rads. What's the R rating of bugs anyway?Bugs still get through and plug the rads. This prevents that. I’ve done it on my vehicles for years.
They do fall off. I have several vehicles and all are screened in. If it’s a problem it’s easy to remove them. Rads do plug up here. My Camaro would be filled up with grasshoppers in the front rads and it’s a pain getting them out.Bugs won't fall off a screen that tight. Plus your Camaro was not rear engined with all the cooling challenges that creates
You just contradicted yourself. They fall off but you also have to remove them. lolThey do fall off. I have several vehicles and all are screened in. If it’s a problem it’s easy to remove them. I believe the grill guards from ACS are the Scrape Armour grill guards. I put them on myself and yes the front of the car will have to be raised or lifted to make the project “less frustrating”.wondering if grill guards (from ACS) can be installed without raising the car at all???
Less frustrating I get, but can they be installed without raising???I believe the grill guards from ACS are the Scrape Armour grill guards. I put them on myself and yes the front of the car will have to be raised or lifted to make the project “less frustrating”.
I would say no. But anything is possible….Less frustrating I get, but can they be installed without raising???
I’d say you’d at least have to drive it up on some blocks. You only have about 5 inches of clearance. Sure it’s possible but would suck.Less frustrating I get, but can they be installed without raising???
Depends on which brand. Some use double sided tape. Some use zip ties etc.How do they attach to the existing grill?
