We went through the same situation. Sometimes the right decisions are the most painful. Think positive that she is not suffering any longer, time will heal.

Oh wow -- tough time Doug -- I was so hoping to see Josie some time.
My heart goes out to you.....

My boy Sid isn't doing so well and was born in April /03.

God bless, and remember that we'll all meet our pets again down the road.

Colin.

Ahhhhh ! That is very sad to hear. I still miss my boy after 3 years. There is almost nothing better than having a companion to share time with but it's tough because they live such sort lives.
My best wishes to you and your family during this time. :(

Very sad news indeed. Dogs give their love unconditionally and expect only to be loved in returned. Definitely heartbreaking when they leave. Our dog is starting to get up there in years now and has survived having a gallbladder removed and a second lump as well. Time does make it easier but they are never forgotten.
