This COVID-19 is devastating to everyone's economy. How long can people stay out of work? The government can't pay people to stay at home for too long. And what they are offering is not enough for the average Joe to keep up. What's gonna happen when people can't pay for much of anything they need just to live, let alone hydro, gas, water, taxes. When this is over, the world will be a totally different place and a lot of people won't be able to recover from this. We are all screwed!
I realize these times ahead will really bite the people who have over-extended
themselves along with their credit and perhaps by enjoying
too many "deserts" before the "meals" for too long.
Once credit is out of the picture, you are pretty much living on
a pension income ... so younger people will have to learn from this and
consider it as looking through the looking-glass of their cpp & oas future.
First plan of attack today may include anything on perpetual-pay
like removing or reducing Cable Service Add-ons, Phone Plan Add-ons,
On-Star, Netflix & etc. If not driving, then park the car and adjust
Insurance. Survival time ....
I must say that I feel for and applaud those who have arrived at a
decision to waive their C8 delivery. (I've seen 2 of them so far)
