You can take that paper and light it on fire, use it as toilet paper or whatever, but the second your car gets exported within that year you will never get to order another.

An old adage seems to fit here...Caveat Emptor. Having said this, if the warning regarding "no sale" for a year is simply in the very fine print and was not acknowledged by the vendor at the point of sale, the likelihood of the clause standing when brought to the bench is unlikely. For context, downhill ski resorts used to add small print on their tow tickets warning of the provider's reduced liability. The bench tossed a case out (an injury as a result of skiing) and providers wisely then made their agreements much more noticeable, i.e. large print with associated physical signage warning consumers/skiers of their reduced liability.
