Pardon my ignorance but isn't a tranny fluid flush the same as a fluid change?
I agree.... I can see changing just the filter and losing a litre of fluid in the process but how do they flush the tranny without draining it? Unless they capture the existing fluid and just re-use it... But I'm old school so what the hell do I know
 
According to Meyerweb on Midengine ..
In this case "flush" doesn't mean drain and replace all the fluid. It's a computer command that forces the fluid already in the DCT through the filter. Makes sure any debris in the fluid is trapped in the filter before you pull the old one out and replace it.
