First Roadside Repair.....Ever!

Riley do you suspect that the age (perhaps) and condition of the tires played a part in this incident? They do look like they have reached their maximum life.

I truly am amazed that the DynaPlug got you home, that is quite a hole in the tire. Great testimony to the product and again I am glad I bought them.

Be careful until you get some me shoes.

If anything, I would have thought the age and lack of tread would have kept the stinking bolt from sticking to the tire as I was driving over it!

I finally found out the age of the tires. They were made in the 32nd week of 2006 so they are oooooold!

Hey Riley....
Did you think that maybe that bolt has always been inside and that the tire is so old that the bolt was working it's way out???

Cool story, although sorry to hear about your luck Riley. Mi going to get me some DynaPlug before next weekend when I take the Vette through the mountains.

BTW, it looks like you need some new tires Riley :-)

Consider it a "mod"! What are you going to have Manny ship you?

I am leaving tomorrow for Kelowna.... I should be back next Wednesday.. I think.. or Thursday.

Just pricing out the same Nutek wheels that 567Chevy put on his C7. I love those wheels! So if I can go 19/19, I'll do that. If they happen to be out of my price range, I'll look for something else!

Tire is patched and on the car.....just going to let the tires run out the summer.
