Extended Warranty Update

Just bought my 7 year extended warranty today along with a couple other members today also buying maintenance packages. If your not
sure and on the fence send Don a message and he'll get back to you right away!

Hi there, is the pricing the same for 2023 models?
Hi Anthony the answer to your question is yes. The warranties are transferable to the new owner if you sell your car as well or you can get a pro rated refund.
We anticipate the pricing to go up $200-$300 dollars tomorrow for the 2023's extended warranties.

Scott, Don Le helped me enrol in a 84/60000km GMPP today.

Just an update for everyone in regards to the changes for May 1st. GM has increased the cost by about $600 on the 2024 C8 Stingray GMPP (a small surcharge will apply on previous model years). The Z06 and Eray now have their own separate prices.

Don, those prices are more again I'm assuming!

An update to our employee pricing which will be available to all CCF members here will be $2263 for the 84month/60,000km GMPP Total Plus on 2024 models (previous model years will have a small surcharge).

Fortunately I’ve been able to work this out with our management to keep the price as low as possible. Moving forward I will be able to provide an employee warranty price for any GM vehicle not just the Corvette.

Scott I'm interested, but have a few questions (forgive my ignorance):
  • Is gmpp also bumper to bumper?
  • 7yrs / 60k total or that is on top of 3 year bumper to bumper?
  • There's a deductible? I've never heard of that for a car warranty
No such thing as bumper to bumper on an extended warranty!! Also, when I bought my car in 2020, I purchased my warranty then and it was $2600 for 7 year, 72km, zero warranty. FYI.

Hi All. I own a 2020 C8 Convertible. If you own a Convertible, I would strongly suggest a warranty. I have had numerous issues with my roof over the last 3 years. It has been in the dealer 3 times for a total of 5 weeks as parts need to come from the US. Lots of different issues, but don't skimp in buying a warranty. It is currently at the dealer now and has been for almost 2 weeks and I can only imagine the cost if I did not have the extended warranty.

Just got my first American car and it’s a 2020 with 14,000 km on the dash. I’m taking Delivery in mid October and I don’t believe there’s any warranty on it currently but I wanted to know if I’m able to add one from a dealership? To be honest every car I purchased so far has pretty much been private sale so this is a very new concept to me. Any advice would be appreciated.

Call Don Le at Georgetown Chev. [email protected], he can get you factory GMPP warranty.

Even when you buy private, you can go to the dealer for extended warranty if the car is not too old (ie usually not older than extended warranty years). You do not have to buy from a dealer to get it. You will have to get it inspected at your cost if already out of factory warranty, before they sell you extended.

Not sure why this is a new concept for you. I have been doing it for decades, and not just GM. Most brands have this available.
