Wide body? Whoopie shirt. My brakes work fine. You paid more than 60K more than I did for brakes, a wide body and awd. Have fun. I do and I'm more than happy with the car as it is.

I paid the EXACT SAME amount for my Eray as an HTC stingray 3LT. Yeah, you’re right (sarcasm) I would’ve much rather have a stingray than an E ray for the exact same price!

Don't take it the wrong way. I like the Eray, but not at its price point. You shouldn't take my opinion as a disparaging comment directed at Eray owners. In fact, it's the contrary.

I loved my Stingray too, but I had originally set out to buy an E-Ray or a Z06, and circumstances (space) did not allow me to keep both.
It was only through endless hours of research and discussion that I inevitably chose the E-Ray.
What I really don't understand is why all the E-Ray 'bashing' is so prevalent.
It's never put forward as "Well, for me the Z06 is a better choice because of this, that, and the other."
Instead, it seems to always be "The Z06 is the best, and anything else is but an optioned out Stingray."
I love a good argument as much as the next guy, but please, try to bring some logical discussion forward.

My buddy just bought one, waited 2 years, spent 225,000 and put it away endo of October, the week it arrived. He won’t drive it until May. I think he regrets it. Hmmm. Yeah. I don't see the need for an Eray myself. I don't really like the Z06 either. Too noisy and rough (in a nice way) for me at this stage in life.
Neither do I. I'll also never understand why Eray owners like to bash the Z06. It is what it is. A high revving race car. It's great for what it is. Just not for me.

2LZ. Not LT. Yes, my way is definitely not only the smart option, but the best one for living in Ontario. (Unless of course you like garaging your car for 6-7 months)

Everyone has their reasons for buying which ever variant it may be. I will respect that and I will also respect those that owns other brands as well. That's the spirit of a car enthusiast? And you could be a brand loyalist as well. It is all good. Erays, Z06s or anything else will not cross my mind when I drive in my own Stingray for the first time this summer. 4 years in the making.

I think you bought it because you wanted it? Maybe because you could afford it? Maybe because you are not a very good driver and you need AWD? My 2 cents ,I bought a Stingray and I track it 1/4 mile and I wanted to upgrade to eray or Z06 but instead I will supercharger it. Save a ton of money and be as fast as those 2 and have lots of money for beer
. One last thing, I live in Quebec and lived where we had snow 6 months a year and drove 100 mph with only winter tires in the back!!! I have never driven into a ditch in my life. The only reason I put winter tires on, is because the gov made it law. AWD, who needs it, you, I guess. Have fun with your car.
