None were mentioned in the article. Could you elaborate on his "crimes"

There should be some consequences.

Guilbeault and Holden were arrested and charged with mischief. The stunt cost the CN Tower Corporation an estimated $50,000, and Guilbeault was sentenced to one year's probation and the court ordered him to pay a portion of costs.

Should have had them pay all the costs. Anyone causing damage or incurring expenses to "control" the situation should have to pay restitution. Parents should have to pay for any stupidities their kids get in to. Would be a lot less BS around then.
Should have done that to the truckers in Ottawa. Might have moved their rear ends faster if they were getting billed for security.
If its a legal demonstration that is one thing. Crossing that line to become a nuisance is completely different
