Driving car below 0?

Hi guys,

I'd like to bring my C7 home this Saturday. But the weather forecast is calling for a high of -1. I've read all the comments about Michelin tires not faring well in cold weather. Should I be worried about that? Do you guys drive your cars when it's below 0?

Bring it home if it is dry. Just don't get on it too hard. I know, I know good luck with that.

You should be fine as the tires call for 20f or higher (which is -6) I had my car out at zero and (before we had snow) and they were fine. I was a bit cautious. Good luck and post pictures

I drive my car at -10 in november because i dont know this issue, and my tire is ok, maybe lucky.but i think -1 is not a drama

Michelin states that grip falls off once below +7 and then not to drive once below -7 due to the possibility of cracking.

I found that once the temp gets below +7 the tires start to loose their grip.
So if it's dry out and above -7 just take it easy and bring her home.

It will be warm soon! I hope!

I've driven in -2 lots, dry roads Dewey roads, cars fine and fine to get on it if it's dry and you're careful, some dew on the road in any temp and it's sketchy flooring it, casual driving I've drove thru an inch of snow and its fine

Well I brought her home yesterday (-4C temperature). No problem with traction unless you get on it hard - easy to lose grip.

What a great car. Corsa Extreme sounds wicked. Can't wait for warmer weather.

you should check the tires for cracks as GM had a warning on driving below 5 degrees or something like that because the Michelins were cracking
