If I have the choice, I will not drive it the rain, if I get caught in the rain, so be it. It's mostly the extra hassle of cleaning the car and just wanting to take the best care of it that I can, or an attempt to keep it as new as possible, although I realize rain doesn't actually wreck the paint or anything, but getting in with dirty feet, all the little pebbles and stuff thrown by the tires when the streets are wet and thinking about the possible electrical issues makes it less than ideal. It's not that my car is worth a lot of money but I want to keep it as nice as I can without excess cleaning/creating potential electrical issues. I have a truck for the rain and snow that I enjoy driving in those conditions so that is what I would choose to drive.
For those that do drive in the rain, rock on!
