I must say that I am enjoying reading your jocund side in this challenge.
Hoping everyone sees this as the friendly collaborative
effort that it is intended to be for the benefit of CCF as a whole.

; I can only hope my spouse will be understanding when she sees our credit card bill and asks about the 20 bucks. She's already struggling (to put it mildly) with the C8 acquisition, which comes at the end of a long series of "misunderstandings" for all the vehicles I've purchased over the course of our marriage ( 
sigh).
Perhaps in a few years as there is quite a bit needing
to mature in and around the C8 for my liking.
Since my time of briefly experiencing being in and around a collection of '19 ZR1,
my Corvette expectations have been set much much much higher than
what is being offered in the inaugural C8.
True the slow-to-show-up C8 may have most of my judgement based
from a brochure that I have. I just don't trust what others say about the C8
nor care about who cannot handle the truth of my perspective.
It is without any desire to represent anyone else.
In the meantime, I'm not game to what comes across to me as
advocating mountains out of molehills as I matched all the donations in this.
Along with my kind thanks, I have accomplished what was
set out in this thread, I am content with it and moving along.
