DCT transmission Fluid and filter replacement

What would the cost have been otherwise ?
I just checked the price for the internal DCT filter and it's MSRP of $171.xx, but can be had for about $97 not that it's needed, but they replaced mine anyway.
Haven't heard of any Canadians paying for their dct fluid change yet, but I just read where one American paid over $1200 for engine oil and tranny fluid changed. One paid $1700 for the same service. If that's in U.S. dollars you can only imagine how much we'd have to pay.

Ok, so why didn't they change the DCT Filter...
That doesn't need changing at the same time. For whatever reason the fluid change does not coincide with the cartridge filter change.

Does that not depend on your mileage or the systems life monitor ? He doesn’t mention the mileage so that may be where the confusion comes from.

Why use new fluid with a contaminated filter. Still waiting for OP...
As per the manual, which BTW is what the essential service will cover...

replace the DCT fluid every 72,000 KM's ... Or every three years, whichever comes first. If the vehicle mileage is near the canister filter replacement interval, replace the fluid and filter.

@Zora49North , get in here and provide details of your service so we can all jump off of this Hamster Wheel. Please...
Why do you need his confirmation? My fluid was changed WITHOUT changing the DCT canister filter, as per the manual!
My canister filter was changed at 10,500 and the fluid at 23,000, as per the manual.

Yesterday, I did my DCT filter and oil change. Doing the oil change is a pain because they cannot plug there usual machine. It needs to be drained like engine oil and then filled manually liter by liter with a big syringe thru the left rear tire opening (need to remove the wheel). Then plug computer to open/close transmission valves, this will cause the oil level to lower. Then need to continue adding extra oil with syringe until its full again. In total 10 liter of oil was put in the transmission.

Anyhow... its took over 3 hours to complete both DCT filter and oil change. But now the gear shifting is so smooth. Do you guys who have done this procedure also feel the gear shifting is smoother or it in my head

I see you are from Québec. Do you know a site where I can get information about Corvette events , in Québec.
