Well move aside because l am #33 at Canadas #1 C8 Dealer

hey Mark, I remember a month ago you said you were #36. If you are down 3 spots to number 33 that means I’m down at list 3 spots if no one between you and me haven’t dropped out also. This made my day, oh the little things in life

Mine finally delivered today - pretty fun car to drive for sure - lots of positive comments and thumbs up from people. It sure does turn heads! It was a rollercoaster of wait for sure and I know how the others in waiting are feeling!
Exactly to the day 1 month from build to delivery in Calgary. Thanks for putting up with my constant queries CMP!

Are you after a 2020 or a 2021
It can't be a 2020. Those spots are all taken.
I was 87 initially with Cullen and eventually got down to around 50 by attrition thanks to covid and HTC's
You guys being in the 30's will get a C8 in the second round of allocations likely Mid to late February I bet.

I'm on the list for 2021, but by now 2020s and 2021s are all on one list.
Sort of, but not really. The lists for a 2020 can't change, while the ones for a 2021 can. The dealers are committed to buying all their allotted 2020's while they have no idea about 2021's yet.

I think I caught you leading out The Deerfoot Trail 200 last Tuesday. I was out for a bike ride taking a moment on a bridge and recognized the gleaming orange spec on the horizon.

Based on the comments regarding delayed Canadian deliveries, I'd have to assume I'll be a spring delivery. I'm a TPW of late Oct. Can't say it's all bad. Every day of down time is more miles on the daily driver test fleet on the road right now to find defects. You'd have to think (hope) GM will use this down time to target some known issues on the production line and do some fine tuning and tweaking. Plus, a late November delivery doesn't do a lot for me here in Calgary. I was planning on picking up the car and with any luck driving it to storage in a friend's hangar at my cost, plus insurance, plus lost opportunity costs on my outlay of cash. If my C8 is going to be stored for the next six months it might as well be on GMs dime... Not mine. Sigh.... Lemonade, not lemons

Except it will be outside! Not sure I'd prefer that. Let's hope they concentrate on making Northern cars first!

Guys give it a rest.
