Current BG production estimate

Hi guys, I have a TPW of July 18 and received my VIN too. What can I expect as the likely delivery date to Ontario. Need to sell my other car to make room. Is 3 weeks after production a reasonable estimate?

Also, now that I have the VIN, what info can I get with it?

3 weeks should do it, but there are other factors. I'd wait until it's at 4000 (Ready to ship) before I'd make any concrete plans. That is if you need your current vehicle. Some cars get bayed for quality control. Others waiting for a carrier and still others wait ant Ingersoll for a ride. What is your dealership? That also can make a difference

Thanks. Bill Spencer.
It will likely make a stop over in Ingersoll, but usually only for an hour or 2 as it gets transferred to a different hauler. But that isn't always the case as sometimes JCT goes al the way to Coburg and sometimes it sits in Ingersoll for a couple of days. Still 1 to 3 weeks is a good target.

Thanks. Bill Spencer.
Shariz, I just heard a car built last Wed morning June 29th, arriving at a dealership in West Toronto at 5pm yesterday. So it took about 8 1/2 days from coming off the line to delivery at the dealership.
Toronto is usually next day delivery after loading at the Corvette Plant.
Cobourg may require an offload in Ingersoll, but the last time I spoke to one of the Jack Cooper drivers he said they were going right through to Ottawa at that time. Spencer's should be able to give you an update on the recent deliveries if they came straight from Bowling Green.

Great point. The dealer is usually the best source for info (dealership depending of course LOL)

With your VIN, you can get an insurance quote and register with the Ron Fellows driving school in Nevada, which is something you should seriously consider attending with GM’s subsidized rate for new Corvette owners. Congrats on your soon-to-arrive wheels and post photos!
