The first Corvette I ever drove was a 1984 Crossfire! I saw GMHTP do a feature on one back when they were still in print. Got the car into the 12s with minimal mods and a smallish shot of N20.

A guy in Texas with a blue 84 spent $2000 in parts and got a best of 11.86 in the 1/4 mile.

150 hp shot of NOS
3.73 rear gears

Performance tip of the day!

Step up to a msd box and larger plug wires and better cap and rotor.

Better consistent spark makes better performance. Also use plug wire seperators.

On my 84 I have 8.8mm accel plug wires
On my 85 I have 10 mm plug wires.

Plus they look bada$$
