Corvette C8 Delivery Confirmations

I'm watching for you Andrew. I am living through your delivery! lol
My wife "thought" she saw an orange C8 today. But all she could tell me was it had a high wing! lol.
2 were delivered to Uxbridge in March, but no idea what colours they were.
 
If I start seeing vins almost 2000 later than mine being shipped before mine......I may have a massive issue. If there is something else going on, a courtesy call to any customer that is delayed like that should be happening. I'm fine with a delay as long as I'm informed. If I'm left in the dark then thats another story

You might if that's when they entered your order on an allocation , you need to know if you're at 1100 or 3000 status
 
I also ordered from W/N. like Gilles27 said, you need to find out your status. I haven't been told anything I didn't already know from W/N. They should be able to give you that information, but you may need to ask for it. GM claims all 3000 status orders will receive 2020 C8's.
I have been trying to keep track of the C8's that where delivered to W/N from Jack Cooper transport. From the information I have gathered, I see they have received 21 to date.

I also put a deposit at WN in Oct. Mine was for a HTC . My guy has already told that I won't be getting a 2020. When I ask about their allocation I don't get a straight answer.

All I can say is, follow this CCF. It's got some great people on it with a wealth of information. I've learned so much over the year I've been waiting.
 
That is truly unfortunate. There is no excuse for a lack of transparency in the waiting process. I would not deal with a dealer that would not tell me how many are in line ahead of me. The one thing I have learned in this process is you need to ask for the line count and your position in it, AND the available dealer allocations they will be getting. These are the key critical numbers. You can then make an informed decision on where to park your deposit. Many flock to the biggest vette dealers. Yes, they have the allocation numbers but they also have the long waiting lists to go with it. I simply ordered at my local Chev dealer. I knew at the time they only had 12 cars coming in. But I also knew I was in position 13 at the beginning and I was able to move up to be in the 12 with normal attrition that always happens when some bail out or decide to hold off for the Z06. No question that all of the plant closures have had a huge impact on the build ramp up here. So I am not trying to shame dealers for getting caught in the squeeze. I am sure if GM could have built 40,000 cars there would not be any issues at all.

I totally agree with ABC, you need to ask for the dealers number of allocations and where you stand.
I learned this when I ordered my C6 Z06 in 2006. I did get one but not till September. When I ordered my C8
I spoke to a rep at WN but he was unable to answer my questions, John Wilson called me back, he has been at
this a long time and is very knowledgable. He told me I would be 80th on his list, I felt this was too far back considering
it was the first week of August in 2019.
I opted to go with my small town dealer in Listowel where I was #1 on his second allocation list. I was hoping someone
would drop off, that didn't happen. They told me to expect June /July delivery which is precisely what would have happened
had it not been for Covid 19.
Last check I am at a July 27 TPW (along with Murray and a few others here) which is on schedule with what my dealer told
me in August 2019 when you consider the 6 week delay..
Bottom line, ask as many questions as you can think of no matter how stupid you think they are! A reputable dealer (which is the
majority) will give you the facts as they know them, but remember they are just dealers, GM holds all the cards!!
 
I'm not going to say WN / Brian Cullen / Finch or Bill Spencer is the largest volume Corvette dealer cause I don't know but WN is definitely one of them and unfortunately seem underwhelming when it comes to Corvette sales. You would think that customer satisfaction would be more in line with Kerbeck and publish a list on their website with orders status, instead of needing to pry this info out of salespeople that don't give accurate info.

Oh my!!! Thankyou for posting this. I didnt even see the list before i Read "looks like MikeCC8 is on its way" and my jaw dropped. Thankyou thankyou for all the well informed and incredibly knowleageable people on this forum.
