Looks like four Allison aircraft engines. Reminds me of Tommy Ivo's "Showboat" dragster that ran four nailhead Buick V8's.
 
Amazing story of this Crew and their Halifax Bomber. They collided with another bomber over Paris, France and still managed to make it home. Google it, copyrighted story by York Press, looks like it might be an issue to post the link.

you do realize Randy that regardless of whether the Wright brothers are trying to get it off the ground or it's full of helium and says Happy Birthday on it, I'm going to call it an F35 from here on in.... Occasionally I will be correct... Today I feel good....lol
