No survivors. It is a very melancholy site at the top of that ridge. A few 100m either side and they would have cleared. They hit the highest point of land in the general vicinity. My mother tells me that it was a very bad snow storm that night.

Cool shot. That camo though looks like it would be better suited for a tank or other ground vehicle. Could see it maybe if it were a VTOL though for hiding among the trees.

Who would have guessed. Not me apparently! Now that I see the side view though it is much more evident. I think I prefer the Spitfire to tell the truth though , it has to be one of the most beautiful aircraft designs ever conceived. And one of the most effective other than perhaps the hurricane. Outstanding.
