Cat back install

I have been drag racing for years now and I have seen it for years. Some say modifying your cars with aftermarket parts for performance, does not give you any extra HP or torque. I say bullsh.. I modified all my Mustangs and went from 13.40 quarter miles to 13.00. Others from 12.87 to 12.30 and 12.40. to 12.00. I saw others going from 12.40 to 11.40 with the same Mustang GT I had. The best mod , for performance you can do to start is a programmer/tuner and get what is left in the computer. The thing is , if you do , now , they know right away. Even Ford has put a stop to that and if you do, there goes your warranty. If you do not care about your warranty... As for a cat back, you only lose the warranty on that part. There is a law , in Canada and the USA that prevents car manufacturers from voiding the whole warranty.
 
Haven't been to a drag strip in over 16 years. Back in my younger days, me and my younger brother would be there once a week to watch him and his buddies race their 5.0.

If anyone thinking of adding major mods, they should realize the consequences as well. That is why I don't race or track my car for health reasons.

Yes messing with the engine or trans , not smart under warranty but replacing parts like mufflers with no insulation or cat back etc. is not a reason to cancel anything but the parts. I am old , but I am still 25 in spirit and mental health.

Vids doesn't reflect the true volume. With the valve open, she bark with a higher pitch. Both modes are loud.
It would be interesting to compare ie. JR's Headers/cats vs cats/exhaust as in volume. Not for a competition but to see if there any distinctive characteristics between the 2?

I'll just tell her that you guys stopped by for a cold 'wobbly pop' and tore your muffler off hitting one of the speed bumps in the neighbourhood .

Or hate look? Lol. I will be put in the same company of the Harley riders? I will put my exhaust silencers to good use on cold start. Cross my fingers. I think it was as loud as the Lambo Huracan I drove on The
GTA Exotic Car Drive last summer. Only that the Lambo has that fpc tone.
