Canadian Price Increases Imminent

It happened...This morning gm Canada announced the price increase on the Stingray

The dealer I originally dealt with (but didn't have any allocations) called me today to tell me about the price increase. He said it affects all unbuilt cars coming into Canada. If he's correct, a lot of people at 1100 just took a kick in the wallet today...

Is it just me or the base 1LT is still the same at $52745?

My guess is the website isn't updated yet or something. The dealer I spoke with today said that the base price went up about $4000.00 and no price changes on any options... although I'm skeptical of this guys information. C7Jake may have more credible info.

the information I have shows an increase of $2100 to all 2014 Stingrays but if you have ordered and have an invoice the price on your invoice is the price you pay but i will receive more information on Monday and i will post it here

There is a price increase but the question is how will that be applicable to current customers with orders in at 1100 without a built date. I assume by invoice you mean 1100, once the order is in it should be locked but what if it carries over to the 2015 model year which is highly likely for orders in canada. is the price still locked? If not GM Canada needs to have a program similar to the US that guarantees current price for customers with deposites in before the increase.

I ordered my 2014 Z51 this Saturday, tentative delivery early July. From what the Sales Manager told me they pushed out a few more allocations to volume dealers to fill out the 2014 production schedule, before the 2015 production switch over. Not sure how long switch over takes but production is to start Aug 11th.

Price on invoice was base of 56,520 for the Z51 1LT. The manager also was not certain until the order went firm if the price would hold, but was 80% sure it would.
