It looks like his vettes are priced very reasonably, some even slightly below retail asking price according to the guides (2009 silver convertible - his asking $37,900- Canadian retail is $40,700)

I added a pricing guide that most of the high end sellers use to price wholesale and retail, in both US and Canadian.
Check it out to at least find out what the cars should retail for, based on options and mileage.

Awesome! It's always nice to have a guide to compare prices and get a ball park figure of what to expect!

.....however, just looking at the guide, 2009 Z06 with 5K is listed at retailing for Just over $51,000? I'm finding they are closer to $65,000. I wonder what stats they use to get their values?

I kind of like this one....however, if I got it, the first place I would like it to go is to Dasilva Motorsports for a tune with Meth. http://alberta.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...percharged-Custom-Interior-W0QQAdIdZ416416127

I know that Edmunds and others use this guide for buying and selling their cars.

The Z06 seems way overpriced at 65K. I will agree that 51K seems a bit low, but hey, you can ask whatever you want for cars. It comes down to finding that sucker to buy an overpriced one. :D
Gee, you can buy a 2009 ZR1 with 15K miles for that in the US. I know what I'd be buying if I was in that budget range, and it wouldn't be the Canadian Z06, that's for sure.

A 2009 Z06 can be had in the US for less than 50K with 20K miles on it.
I also see some 2009 base corvettes on Autotrader.com priced at 65K in the US, so it's all about greed and gullibility sometime.

I guess that's why they call it a guide, to at least know what the cars should be worth.

Cheers

I have to agree with your reply. As I was writing I knew I was skewing the thread. You can always find a car for sale in the price range you are trying to make a point about. Anyway, nice to see the guide! It does seem a bit low for Canada but I would imagine it also depends on where you are from as to the values of the cars.

Mark Wilson C6. Don't you just love it when they give one line to describe the car and nine to explain their wonderful financing arrangements. That in itself would tend to turn me off. Never been there and they might be a perfectly good dealership. The message just isn't much of a turn on. 2005 Chevrolet Corvette GlassTarga Top! Heads Up! Small world...:coolgleam:

About 4 weeks ago I called in on a Thurs and booked an appointment for Sat to see this car....with cash in hand ready to pay IF the car lived up to the ad and that everything checked out after the fact.

Friday evening I get a call at work that the car is sold...telling me not to bother driving up to see it....so naturally I was disappointed, so I went to Used Car dealership in Toronto | The Collection of Fine Cars the next day (Saturday) and bought virtually the same car with half the KM's Wilson's was advertising.

The car is awesome...and I love it!

Ironically...that Wilson's C6 never did sell. Not sure why...so it was back up on their site until recently. No follow up call from their rep to see if I still wanted it...but, would have been too late anyhow.:D

I also saw that Vette from COLISEUM...but like many here, as I asked around many said the same thing...stay away...but I really wanted black on black with Automatic trans anyhow.

In any case Collection took pretty good care of me, prepped and detailed the car beautifully and now I'm a pretty happy C6 owner.
