Can someone from Toronto look at a Corvette for me?

Hey guys, I'm shopping for my first Vette and have a small budget for a C6. There's a silver 2006 at Coliseum in Toronto that is exactly what I want. They will ship to me here in Winnipeg but it'd be great if someone who knew the cars could look at it for me and give me honest feedback. So? Anyone willing to help?

Stay away from Coliseum. There's a reason why their cars are so cheap. When I was Vette shopping I went their and after seeing the car, and their I guess you'd call "showroom", I left immediately. The place is a dump.Their cars are either "hitters" or theft recoveries. Even if you're on a budget spend more to get more. It doesn't have to be out of sight as C6's have started to drop to a good price.

Sorry, I would love to help but based on their hours of operation and my work schedule, I wouldnt' be able to get there in time.

LSXtasy has a point, it's not exactly the best neighbourhood in Toronto, maybe others can weigh in on the reputation of this dealer

Thanks for the input guys. There was a really nice red 06 with 80k here in winnipeg but I was too slow on the draw for that one.

Anyway, I guess I'm a bit of an optimist in thinking there's always a diamond in the rough but this grey one has been on the market a little while so I was kind of wondering what's wrong with it. Maybe nothing. But there's no way I would buy a car without seeing it or having someone knowledgable check it out for me.

Wilson's in Guelph has some nice C6's. The cheapest one he has is $25, 000, and is an auto trans. He has more to choose from and is a reputable dealer. He brings his Vettes up from the States. I bought my C5 Z06 there 2 years ago, which was originally from Pennsylvania. Check it out, it might be worth your while.

I would have looked to the US dealers that are on the US Corvette Forum,but I found one in Ont.

check out this link Registrar of Imported Vehicles www.riv.ca i bought my gem from the US and did all the leg work myself. Probably saved 8 grand and got the one i wanted

There are lots of C6's out there, but as usual you get what you pay for.

$30,000.00 in Canada seems to be the point where you see the better Vettes. Lots in the 20' south of the border

Mark Wilson C6. Don't you just love it when they give one line to describe the car and nine to explain their wonderful financing arrangements. That in itself would tend to turn me off. make sure that a car hasn't been flagged or had some issue. if a future situation occurs your insurance company will not give you anywhere near what the car is worth.

I'm telling you. DO NOT GO TO COLISEUM!!!! Their cars are "hitters" which means that they've been in accidents or they are theft recovery vehicles. The Nassau blue C5 vert that I looking at was priced right and was a p.o.s.!!!! If you are spending your hated earned money don't waste it on garbage. You'll spend more in the long run.
