48 hours later and still no reply on the original house offer. Sheesh what takes so long and the Z06 and convertible are getting whiter by the hour!
Struggled to get my mower started and in storage yesterday. Have to deal with reality finally, no more cutting grass this year. Wouldn't fire even once. So picked up some ether. Removed the air cleaner and yep, it was flooded. So cranked it over, gave a little spray and it fired up! Pushed in the choke and it stopped. Repeated the process and it backfired and the area caught on fire!! Don't want to douse it with snow as it would have gone directly into the cylinder and it went out in a few seconds. Repeated ethering and it fired up, slowly pushed the choke in and it ran fine. Let it warm up as i was expecting it might be hard to get through snow (something JD probably never tested for I'm sure) but it actually went through the snow much better than I expected and is now out of the weather for the next 6 months.
Oh ya. Having learned my lesson from my marriage, as my gf and I were living together and looking at co-buying a house, got a proper cohabitation agreement drawn up by lawyers this time as opposed to my self drawn up one (used the example in a Canadian book on marriage contracts too).
Much less than I expected as we got the bills today, mine was just over $600, hers was just over $700. Considering what the settlement from my divorce cost me, including legal fees for that farce, less than 0.5% this time around. The cheapest piece of mind can ever cost I figure!!
And for those who thinks cohabitation/marriage agreements/contracts are exploitive, this one gives us identical protection from each other..................same for me, same for her. Nice to have actual/real/true equality in the eyes of the law. While I can't speak for my gf, I'll be sleeping much better from now on.
Cheers,
Garry
