C8 Welcome Gift

I contacted the Corvette concierge after about a year of ownership. After some back and forth emails, they told me that they have nothing to do with that for Canadian customers. Curiously, my gift showed up 5 days later. Also curious is that the expiry date on my Ron Fellows certificate was exactly one year from the day after I initiated contact with the concierge. I’m sure they weren’t lying at all and it was all just a coincidence. If you haven’t received your gift, contact them or they may not send it.

If anyone has purchased a C8 and has not received their welcome gift you should call GM Canada. I picked up my C8 over a year ago and have not received mine. I called GM and found out that if you are on the national do not call list with CRTC you will not receive one because it is a marketing promotion. The person told me to let anyone else on the call list know they will have to call GM to receive it.
I have called them numerous times with no success, come April it will be a year since I got the car. I may give them 1 more call before I leave for the south.

Called Spring Mountain amd their sales person told me that there was nothing they could do for me without the certificate....😞
I booked mine for the March 2025 without certificate, after 2 days Darcy confirmed my booking and charged my CC, I believe they send a request to GM Canada. Try her:

Hi f14637:

Darci is the one I spoke to as well.....did you book with her within 1 year of buying your car? I bought mine 2 years , this Jan 14, so that may be the difference...

Yes. I got my 2024 C8 in Apr 2024. I spoke to her in Sep 2024. The certificate comes with the gift, i don't think anyone said this in any forums. I spoke to Ron Fellow at the Corvette Coral at Mosport, he told to call the school and they will help even without certificate.

It's been motioned many times on this forum, but it's become accepted so no one mentions it anymore.
You get a BRAND NEW corvette and you get $ off Spring Mountain. Regardless of how long you own your car, but yes, 2 years might raise an eyebrow. This is the first I've heard of them denying a visit to a new corvette owner.

Per Ron, new C8 owners have 1 year from the date of purchase to get the discounted rate. Find out if Ron will be talking at the Corvette Coral in 2025, then talk to him about your sitiuation.

No, that's just what it says on the certificate. I got my certificate 1 year after I bought the car. They are making allowances for the tardy delivery of the certificate.

Honestly, GM needs to pick up its brand and loyalty game. I’ve bought a 2021 C8, a 2023 CT5V BW, and a 2024 Z06. I never received so much as a key chain, never mind the models. They all might as well have been Malibus. The delivery experience for any of them was not memorable. I picked up a Porsche Macan as a daily a year and a half back, and it was an experience. An ‘unveiling’ and my front seat was filled with Porsche branded gifts (mug, two thermal cups, water bottle, and key chain) at delivery. I received a welcome letter a few weeks later, and then a Porsche Certificate of my car. A year after ownership, they sent me this glass block and note with the exact spec of my car (exact to the coloured crest wheel centres!). For a Macan, not a 911. 3 cars from GM, arguably their finest, and nothing.

You paid for all this you know.
I'd rather have gotten a better deal on my C8 then the dust collector that I did get. Yes, it's cool, but do I really need it?

Yup, and enjoyed it! It’s about the experience and making ownership special. Also paid for the speed models and THREE certificates that I never received. Cheers.
