C8 OEM Performance Exhaust Sucks. LOl..

What Murray said. It's quite a bit louder from outside. Compared to previous Corvettes, the exhaust is both farther away and separated from you by the engine and, in a coupe, a thick piece of glass. Not aftermarket loud, but loud enough I don't need to annoy my neighbors with a louder one.

I have a Shelby gt 350, Gallardo SE and a Porsche GT4RS, they all sound amazing from behind the wheel and add to the smile on my face when I step on the throttle. The C8 is an awesome car as well but I tend to agree that it needs a V8 rumble that you need to hear and feel from the drivers seat. Mine is an HTC and even with the top down it does not sound all that special. The handling, acceleration , comfort and bang for the buck are hard to beat and is special , but feel it is missing that little bit of extra ā€œ this is so cool feeling ā€œ .

Lets face it most of us buy these cars because they are cool, at least I do. I do not care too much about how it sounds to others or what others think about it , I want to hear it and have a smile for the little three second burst that you can semi legally get away with in Ontario. Maybe a little bit childish but I am 68 year old kid at heart ! will be looking at some type of upgrade as well when I have time next spring.

Enjoy your winter guys.

All I got was compliment from all ages from kids to adults on how nice my aftermarket exhaust/high flow cats sounded. Mine was no no super duper expensive ones either.
I will have these and other items f/s soon.
One guy in a pickup asked if mine was a ZR1? Lol..

Do you ever sleep? ;)

I thought I was driving an EV coming from aftermarket cats and NPP exhaust. Cruising around town is just too muted for a performance car.
Nomex on. šŸ˜€
Install a Paragon Performance track exhaust: no muffler, less weight and some HP gain.

I guess it is personal choice of course. No right or wrong answer.
I wouldn’t just for the fact that you will eliminate the option of if want you want a quieter exhaust note in some situations.
With NPP couldn't you just use My Mode and lower the engine slider to quiet it down ?
