Never had an issue here even with several cops nearby. The city (AB) should get a ticket for putting stones on your roads in the winter - LOL.

Sand and fine gravel mixture is definitely preferable to calcium chloride.......only vehicles you will see here with any rust came from somewhere else. Although Alberta does use salt in a lot of areas .
