I used to be very much against extended warranties, but seeing how much crazy tech is in new cars, I'd say go for it. It's not about the engine and transmission any longer, it's about the sensors and computers and all the other expensive electronic gizmos they put in cars these days.
That touch screen? If it fails (which they do) it's a good $1500+ to replace it. That's half the cost of your warranty right there.
See if you can get a guaranteed price rebate where if you don't use the warranty, you can get some of your money back.
